New Installation vs. Door Replacement
If you're building a new garage or adding a garage to your home, you need a full new installation — tracks, springs, opener, and door. If you already have a garage, you're likely looking at a replacement, where we remove the old door and install a new one in the existing opening.
Either way, the process is the same: we assess your opening, help you choose the right door, and install it with proper spring tension, tracks, and opener connection.
Garage Door Styles We Install
Carriage House Style
Carriage house doors have the look of old-fashioned swing-out barn doors but operate as modern sectional doors. They're extremely popular in Nassau County neighborhoods like Garden City, Manhasset, and Great Neck where curb appeal matters. Available in wood, steel, and composite materials.
Traditional Raised-Panel Steel
The most common style on Long Island. Clean, classic raised panels in steel — durable, low maintenance, and available in dozens of colors. Great for colonial and ranch-style homes throughout Levittown, Massapequa, and Hempstead.
Contemporary / Modern
Sleek aluminum frames with frosted or clear glass panels. Increasingly popular in renovated homes throughout Brooklyn, Queens, and updated Nassau County properties. Makes a striking statement and allows natural light into the garage.
Flush Panel
Flat panel doors with a clean, minimal appearance. Works well with modern architecture. Available in steel, aluminum, and fiberglass.

Insulation — Why It Matters on Long Island
Long Island winters are brutal. An uninsulated garage door can let cold air into your home and significantly increase heating costs. We recommend insulated doors (R-value 6–18) for any attached garage.
- Single-layer steel: No insulation — minimal cost, basic function
- Double-layer (steel + insulation): R-6 to R-10 — good for most homes
- Triple-layer (steel + insulation + steel): R-12 to R-18 — best for heated garages and attached garages
